Standley Lake Regional Park
Standley Lake Regional Park is Westminster's crown jewel — a 3,000-acre open space centered on a 1,600-acre reservoir at the western edge of the city, with trails, wildlife areas, kayak and paddleboard access, and sweeping views of the Front Range. The park draws birders, hikers, and paddlers year-round and hosts school environmental education programs through the Standley Lake Nature Center. Bus drop-off and parking for groups is available in the main lot off 100th Avenue.
Confirm current group access and reservation requirements on the Jefferson County open space page before your visit.
